- I have been working with photographs in the graphic design world for almost a decade, but it was only when I had a design client with a need for custom photography that I picked up my camera in a work-related sense. Armed with an SLR film camera, I began shooting away. That Christmas my wonderful husband gave me a digital SLR and I have rarely been seen without it since. It feels so natural, like it is just an extension of my arm. My style is very natural. While I offer posed shots, my love is capturing you, your children, your family—your story—as you really are. I love bright eyes staring back from the finished product. I don't want to over-process your images and I am not at all interested in the "latest trends in processing". Trends fade, but your story will remain the same—forever. And that is my goal—to tell your story the way it is playing out right now. I am a princess, a wife, a mother, a singer, a designer, a photographer. I hate to clean and I loath putting away the clothes I have just folded. But I do love to get dirty with my boys in the back yard and hide around the corner to scare my husband when he doesn't know I am there. My house is lived in and my sneakers are muddy, but I see beauty all around me. I love to capture that beauty. If we are made in the image of God then my goal is to capture Him. He is there, in every image. Smiling back at us.
